Founders' Shield

The camera club was founded in the 1980s by George Saunders and became known as the Moulsham Lodge Camera Club. George and colleagues initially awarded the Shield to the best photographer of the club. Later it was decided to award the Shield to the member who had made the greatest contribution to the club. The Chairman and Competition Secretary acting as a team decide who should receive this prestigeous award. If the Committee feels strongly that one of that team should receive the Shield then that person is replaced by another Committee member.
