Denis Chase Trophy (1929-2010)
Denis was a long standing member of the Club and a regular supporter of our summer events, including the annual 'week-end' away. An annual trophy is competed for in his memory.
The competition is open to all members and in respect of the MLCC organised summer events, including the 'week-end' away, their immediate families who participate in those organised events.
Rules:
1. An annual competition requiring a panel of 3 digital images on an ‘open outdoor subject’ (or ‘subjects’), the images to be taken between 1st June and 30th October, anywhere in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland or during an organised MLCC event (wherever those events may take place), in the year in which they are entered in the competition.
2. Images to be re-sized to a maximum of 1600 x 1200 x 72dpi and submitted either by e-mail to mlcc.chase@gmail.com or submitted via a memory stick, DVD or other suitable medium, no later than 30th October. Each entry to be accompanied by the author’s name, title, location details and dates taken.
3. Entries will be judged as decided upon by the committee and the Denis Chase Trophy awarded to the winner. The trophy to be returned by 30th October each succeeding year.
4. An additional prize may also be given.
